Anchor Motorbike Training Courses

Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)

Despite what you might think, a CBT is not a test. It is simply a 5 part modular course run over at least one day, designed for you to show a competent and safe level of riding on the public road. You do not need to take your motorcycle theory test before completing a CBT, but if you have never been on the road before then it is strongly recommended that you practise one and/or read the Highway Code.

The course is designed to get you off to the right start on your motorcycling career, and also helps to prepare you for the practical motorcycle test.

Practical Test Training

This is where the real fun begins! Take a full bike test, move on from your CBT and get your full licence. We will teach you all the manoeuvres you need to demonstrate on your Module 1 Test on our large training area. We will then take you around all the local test routes (including local snack vans!) in preparation for your Module 2 Test. Once you’ve passed your test you’ll then be able to really enjoy the freedom of riding!
